Why we do not use AI in Drawfolio

Most everyone that knows us a few years know that we want to be as far away from Generative AI as possible, but given the current state of affairs, we feel like it's best to make explicit our position on AI.

At Drawfolio, we think that the use big tech is doing of AI endangers professions that are already precarious, has a harmful impacte on climate, rises inequality, and their models are sustained on the biggest intellectual property theft of human history - a theft that the corporations are not being held accountable for.

That's why on our site's home and on this post you will find why we do not use AI on Drawfolio:

We don't use AI on your pictures

No AI model of ours feeds from your images and work. We can't control what others do with them, but we won't do that.

We don't use AI to code Drawfolio

We keep on coding and building Drawfolio old-school: with our brains, hands, and keyboards.

We dont't use AI to talk to you

Our emails, social media posts, blog, and newsletters are written by real people.
